Richard's Thoughts

Miss Adele

12.7.09
Ephemerae
I could not sleep while you slept. Any little animal might have sheltered in your body; and I kept leaves from your eyes and things from your hair until your lips revived,
bending back my fingers to the lessons of water and thirst.
Fires that night digested the wet, and when their long viridian became your arms and a delirium became our legs, threads relinquished us, and we were not puppeted by earth,
and we were not puppeted by heaven.
We became larger than form and texture and scent--something like clouds--and fear was driven from the manger of our bellies, and anger's thin lips could not diminish us. We ate everything that was red, and everything red was delicious.
My sap was greening your milky body, then your legs slapped. They slapped into fins and you arced and my chin and ear separated, and silver and more silver and silver again,
I quivered behind you.Ephemerae [#47]© 2000 Fammerée

"The Responders"

Thank you all dear Family for all the good luck wishes on my recent engagement. (No Date Set Yet)

1st email from Jessica Pierre- Murphy
Jeanne-
A few updates from the Perry Pierre family - Perry and Carol Pierre celebrate their 42nd wedding anniversary today, July 8. Emily (Pierre) Samson and husband Dave welcome home son number 3 this spring; Rubin Andrew Samson was born in Korea on June 10th, 2008 and joined our family on May 7th, 2009.
All I can think of for now. Thanks for the updates - I love seeing the names of the entire extended family each month! Jessica (Pierre) Murphy
My reply was as follows
I'm so glad you wrote!
I will include the "Perry Pierre Family News" in the next update & if you have any pix put them on Face book & I will grasp them & include them as well.
I really appreciate your sending this update & hope all is well for you & yours.
Love reading your FB notes
I'm hoping you & all your Family can make it to the Lincoln Kermiss on Aug 23rd..
Sincerely, Jeanne
I was introduced to another Family member through face book Randall Fameree
He notified me that, yes he is the son of Randy & Joan Fameree son of Nora & Evan Fameree of Brussels (now deceased). I enjoy reading his reflections posted on FB.
I then wrote to Nicole Fameree-Gall
I'm so glad to know you!!! How's the new baby & big bro doing?
I hope all is well for your whole family.
Maybe next year we can arrange to go to Belgium & explore OLD Relatives???
I wanted to go this year but things got way out of hand & the trip had to be put on the back burner...I always love to hear from you. Take good care Sincerely, Jean
Nicole replied
We are doing well. Nori has set her routine and I've adjusted to it. :) Kalix is very protective of his sister and loves her to bits. It's hard juggling my time between the two of them, but I somehow manage...now squeezing in time for myself is another feat in itself. Well I hope that you are enjoying your summer and keeping cool (we've been experiencing weather in the 100s). Take care of yourself and I'll be in touch soon.
Next comes an email from Harriet Collins-Ducat
Hi Jean: I am a little behind on my e-mails. Although, Henry Deprey from Luxemburg bowl always said a little behind never hurt anybody, and I don't think he meant behind in time. What a guy. Anyway, congratulations on the engagement. How super. What a lucky guy, and what a lucky gal. Keep in touch on the plans. I am sure it will be hectic and fun planning. We were at Ian Foss, Kathy Ducat's grandson and Melissa and Levi Foss son, birthday party today. He will be 3 on July 14. He is so cute, wears glasses and looks like little Mr. Professor. Their daugter, Lundyn, was 1 year old on May 30, actually born the day after my mom's funeral. So it was out with the old (sad) and in with the new (happy) and I was able to in the delivery room. How cool. Well I must sign off and get off to ni nite. Later and God Bless all of your family.
Next a note from Mary Ann Pierre-Johnson
Congratulations on your recent engagement!!! Hope to attend Kermis in August if we can, it's on the calendar anyway! Mary Ann
I then sent out a note to all to check out a tribute to my Dad on mge.com under “The Field of Dreams” Story About the first Wind Farm in Wisconsin
Following are responses to this story.
Karen Kaczmarek-Lamirande

Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Kathy Ducat
Hurray to your dad! From this tree hugger in Sun Prairie
Sue LeCaptain-Deering
Hi Jean
This is so cool! The comments about your Dad were great. I really enjoyed this and the scenery was so beautiful! I wish my Dad were alive to share this with!
Are you going to the kermis this year? Best Regards, Sue (LeCaptain) Deering
Mary LeCaptain
That is so wonderful. He was such a nice person. You must be very proud of him. I wish he had been here to see it. Mary LeCaptain
I replied to Mary
I'm so glad you liked it...
It was very touching for me. I hope you can arrange to come to the Lincoln Kermiss.
I would love to meet you. Sincerely Jean
Mary wrote
Maybe I'll come next year. I have been to Wisconsin twice in the past four months, and can't really take time off of work again. Maybe next year.......
Have fun and don't eat too much Belgian cream pie!

Take Good Care My Family!!!
See you at the Kermiss
